New Electrode Architectures

Developing new electrode designs and key components to achieve high energy density, high power and high stability.

Recent advancements in lithium-ion battery research emphasize the development of novel electrode architectures and critical components to simultaneously achieve high energy density and power output. Key research directions include the exploration of high-capacity active materials, the application of nanostructuring methodologies, and the optimization of electrolyte formulations. Furthermore, significant efforts are directed toward enhancing battery stability and lifespan through the design of highly stable electrodes and electrolytes. Our laboratory conducts comprehensive and interdisciplinary research in these domains, with the goal of advancing battery performance to its full potential.
