Lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries are advanced energy storage systems widely utilized in portable electronics, electric vehicles, and large-scale energy storage applications. Lithium-ion batteries are characterized by their superior energy density and long cycle life, whereas sodium-ion batteries are notable for their resource abundance and cost-effectiveness. As vital components in the transition to sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions, these batteries are the subject of extensive research.
